Shop Sign Printing
If you are looking for large format foamex panels printed for internal shop displays or outdoor shop signs or maybe looking to print large exhibition panels for your trade show we are waiting here to give you full support advising the best solution in your case. Each printed panel can be up to 1500x3000mm (5ft x 10ft) in one piece. Bigger displays can be achieved by joining more panels together.
Foamex Menu Boards
Foamex material is also the most popular material for all kinds of restaurant menu boards catering menu signs. Foamex is smooth and rigid and also suitable for both indoor and outdoor use so may be very useful for both typical restaurants as well as outdoor market stalls or catering van menus.
Large Indoor Displays
For indoor displays we recommend either foamex or foam core material. Foamex panels are stronger but with foam core panels you have the benefit of very light weight comparing to foamex which may be very significant factor if you need the panels hung or attached just temporarily with i.e. velcro or double sided adhesive tape.
Large display panels can be screwed to walls or framework, hung in a frame or suspended from the ceiling (for suspended signs you may also consider display card panels).
Outdoor Signage Printing
Foamex is ideal for outdoor signage. It is not as heavy and expensive as aluminium shop signage and is still flexible to some extend to be able to hide any wall imperfections or better adjust to sign frames etc. Foamex is very durable for its price and so can withstand the typical outdoor weather. Also, because we directly print on the foamex with UV ink, the signage will have a higher quality finish than printing with other methods and is less susceptible to fading. Outdoor signage has never looked better.

Delivery (UK mainland)
From £11+vat per small parcel, up to 1.1m in length and 0.5m in width.

What is foamex board?
Foamex is a popular name for rigid, hard Foam PVC board. It is also called Forex. Foamex does not look or feel like foam material, it looks and feels rather like hard matt plastic.
What is foam core (foam board)?
Foam core or foam board name is less confusing because it actually is foam centred board. When you squeeze foam core board it deforms and feels spongy. Thanks to its foam centre Foam Core Board is much lighter than hard foamex making it ideal for indoor display panels that have to be suspended or attached with velcroe (even if the size is large).
What is the difference between Foamex (foam pvc) and Foam core board?
Foamex is hard, rigid and suitable also for outdoor use. Foam core is much lighter, has soft foam-like centre and is only suitable for indoor use.
Are foamex boards suitable for indoor and outdoor use?
Yes, printed foamex boards are suitable for all weather outdoor use as well as indoor displays.
What thickness does foamex board come in?
The most popular foamex thickness is 5mm. We also stock 3mm foamex in large numbers. Alternatively you can also have 2mm and 10mm foamex (foam pvc) boards. Let us know if you have any special requirements.
Where are the foamex signs produced?
The foamex signs are printed and produced in our printing factory in Whitefield near Manchester.
When will I receive my printed boards?
Our standard printing production lead times for majority of orders is 3-5 working days. However, very often, depending on our current production load, we are able to despatch faster.
Once the production process is accomplished we can offer next day delivery service to virtually all UK mainland locations. For Greater Manchester area we can also offer dedicated same day delivery service to deliver your signs immediately after production. This service costs a little bit extra but we strongly recommend dedicated van delivery for large items delivered to local destinations to maximise safety (avoiding unnecessary parcel handling and redistribution from depot to depot).
